THE MANSION was opened in the Iowa City location by Chuck Skaugstad, Jr., in 1980 in a historic brick home built in 1874, showcasing fine furniture, lighting, accessories, floorcoverings, window treatments, and art. Our professional interior designers have noteable projects throughout eastern Iowa as well as Scottsdale AZ, New York, Las Vegas NV, and Minneapolis, MN.

A second location was opened in Des Moines in 2006 by Ted Irvine to serve Central Iowa, and carries the same fine home furnishings with the services of a professional interior design staff as well.

our inventory of furniture is available for immediate delivery to your home or one of our designers can assist you with custom orders. Our fine furniture lines include Hickory Chair, Baker, Century, and Hancock and Moore. Our accessories and gifts are from Wildwood, John Richards, Global Views, and many more. We are stocking dealers of our lines, and can give our clients competitive pricing for your budget.
