Andrea Larson KoutIowa City Andrea Kout loves the challenge of finding the right mix of patterns that make a room feel cohesive without being too over-thought or matched. Her unique style of blending pattern on pattern is not without a favorite touch of animal print. “No matter if you are traditional or contemporary, animal print works,” is Andrea’s mantra. She advises to think outside the box by injecting a bit of the exotic in a way that is completely unexpected – it could be a zing of color or an inspired piece of furniture. “You can design a room for comfort and function, but never compromise style,” recommends Andrea. “All it takes is finding that one perfect piece you love to work the room around.” Her strength in mixing styles that complement each other prevents a room from becoming too much like a set. Her clients appreciate her abilities to take their initial vision and create a room that sings. Just don’t forget the leopard! email: akout@themansion-interiors.com |
